So Do I Need To Change My Aerial For Digital?

The honest answer is maybe, but not necessarily. Not very helpful i hear you say.

If the signal levels off your analogue television aerial are good, you can measure the signals off digital and see how good or bad they are from your existing aerial. If your digital signal are between say 45dB and 65dB, on all muxes (groups of channels in 1 spot) then you will be able to get digital TV channels from your old aerial. If not, then you need to see why not.
